Holly asked if I had a picture of the glazed chicken I talked about in the previous post... at the moment I don't, but I will take a picture next time I make it. I did take a picture of the jam I use as a glaze though. =)

I've been loving the weather this past week. I love the cooler weather this time of year. I love getting to wear warm snuggly sweaters, drinking hot cocoa or hot cider in the evenings...
I may try to head out to Kohl's some time this week, or maybe next week, for a new outfit. I'm going to do what my mom suggested and find something I absolutely LOVE, and buy it in the size I WANT to be, and just be completed determined to be able to wear it. I've never been able to do such a thing for motivation shopping at Wal Mart because their clothes are just... odd. They do have an occasional nice item but not usually. Though some of the new Miley Cyrus by Max Azria stuff is cute... some of it. But then I like Maz Azria and if I could actually afford designer clothes I'd buy a lot from his line. Anyway, as for K Mart... they don't have anything I like. Ever. But Kohl's on the other hand... I love the clothes they sell. They have so many cute things. While we're on the topic of losing weight though I suppose I'll give you all a little update on how I am doing... since the beginning of August - which is AFTER I started losing weight but it's when I started tracking my weight loss and really trying - I have lost 23 pounds. Which averages out at a little more than 2 pounds per week, which as I understand it is the most you're supposed to lose for safe and long-term weight loss. So I guess I am on the right track.

I'm getting veeeeery close to being able to wear the next smaller size jeans again, and I gotta tell you... I'm excited to be able to wear them. Even though they're not my goal size, they're till a size smaller and it means I'll be one size closer to where I want to be.
Anyway, I have laundry to do today and some other cleaning up so I guess I should get that done and overwith so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Have a wonderful day y'all!
